Fry</b>, Ph.D. is professor emeritus of education at Rutgers University, where for twenty-four years, he was director of the Reading Center. Dr. Fry is known internationally for his Readability Graph, which is used by teachers, publishers, and others to judge the difficulty of books and other materials. Fry was elected to the Reading Hall of Fame in 1993. He is the author of the <i>Reading Teacher's Book of Lists</i>, now in its fourth edition, <i></i> from Jossey-Bass.
