Hums</strong> is Professor in the Department of Health and Sport Sciences at the University of Louisville, USA. In 2009 she was selected as the recipient of NASSM's Earle F. Zeigler Lecture award, the highest academic honor bestowed by the organization. She was a co-contributor to Article 30.5 (Participation in Cultural Life, Recreation, Leisure and Sport) of the 2006 United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. She is currently a Senior Research Fellow for the Institute for Human Centered Design, and a NASSM Research Fellow. She received the 2010 University of Louisville Trustees Award and has been a frequent University of Louisville Red and Black Scholar-Athlete Mentor. Hums has worked at four Paralympic Games as well as one Olympic Games and Para Pan American Games</p><p>Joanne C. MacLean is President and Vice Chancellor of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, Canada, where she previosuly served as Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences. From 2002 to 2012 she was a professor of Sport Management at Brock University, where she held the positions of department chair and interim Dean. She also has had extensive experience in the administration, governance, and human resource management of university sport within Canada. MacLean has had a long-term role administering basketball within Canada. She acted as President of the Canadian University Women's Basketball Coaches Association, Chair of the Canadian Women's National Basketball Operations Committee, and was a member of the Board of Directors of Canada Basketball from 2002 to 2008. She was named a Research Fellow of the North American Society for Sport Management in 2009</p>
