Quincy the Quail leads his family on an adventure in the desert and is helped by Mr. Owl to navigate the grounds when his clumsiness gets the better of him. The story is both entertaining and educational, and the author did a great job in adding footnotes with interesting facts about quails and owls, and QR codes that allow children to hear the birds' calls. This book had lots of interesting facts that I didn't know about quails. This would be a perfect read for a school project about quails since it offered so much information.
