You can sit over the toilet, stand with a leg up, or go in a full squat. Play around until you find a position that works best for you! FLEX disc may look big but it's actually smaller than a tampon when you pinch it in half. Pinch FLEX in half and begin inserting it into the vaginal canal by holding the disc pointing downwards in a vertical position. 2. Insertion: Make sure you are pushing the edge that goes in first down toward the floor so that it sits at a vertical angle and fully covers the cervix. Down and back is key! Tuck the rim (the front edge that goes in last) above your pubic bone. Make sure it's pushed past the pubic bone as far as it can go. You shouldn't be able to feel it at all if it's in the right place. 3. Wear for up to 12 hours: Swim, work out, have sex, go to the bathroom, sleep, go along your day without having to worry about leaks or changes. When you go to the bathroom and relax your pelvic floor FLEX disc will push out enough to empty into the toilet. FLEX disc should pop right back into place when you stand up. If it feels like it hasn't gone back into place, just use a clean finger or do a Kegel to get it back into place behind the pubic bone. 4. Removal: Always start with clean hands. Take a seat on the toilet or stand with one leg up and slide your finger up under the front edge of FLEX disc and pull straight down, keeping it parallel to the floor. Once you've removed FLEX disc, turn the disc upside down to empty the fluid into the toilet, place the empty disc in a wrapper and dispose in the trash. © FLEX
