Place pad in freezer for at least 2 hours. 2. Knead contents and apply to affected area. 3. Monitor skin during application to avoid frostbite. If pad feels too cold, wrap in towel. 4. Place pad in freezer bag and store in freezer for future cold therapy use. DO NOT apply cold therapy for more than 20 minutes. For Heat Therapy (Based on a 1,200-Watt Microwave):1. Clean microwave before use. 2. Pad must be at room temperature before microwave use. 3. Distribute gel evenly in pad and place in microwave. If pad does not fit in microwave, fold in half while still ensuring the gel is evenly distributed. 4. Heat at full power for 50 seconds. Flip pad and heat for an additional 50 seconds. 5. Knead contents to distribute heat. Check for desired temperature (temperature will continue to rises lightly). If pad is too hot, let cool until temperature is acceptable. 6. If additional heat is desired, return to microwave and heat in 10-second increments. Do not exceed total heating time of 120 seconds. Excessive heating may cause pad to rupture and leak. 7.
