Place pack in freezer for at least 1 hour. 2. Remove and insert gel pack into wrap. 3. Wrap and secure into place with blue fabric facing away from body. 4. Monitor skin during application to avoid frostbite. 5. Place gel pack in freezer to store for future cold therapy use. DO NOT apply cold therapy for more than 20 minutes. For Heat Therapy (Based on a 1,200-Watt Microwave):1. Clean microwave before use. 2. Gel compress must be at room temperature before microwave use. 3. Distribute gel evenly in compress and place in microwave.DO NOT place wrap in microwave. 4. Heat at full power for 40 seconds. 5. Knead contents to distribute heat. Check for desired temperature(temperature will continue to rise slightly).6. Remove and insert gel compress into wrap. 7. Wrap and secure into place with blue fabric facing away from the body. If gel compress is too hot, let cool until temperature is acceptable. 8. If additional heat is desired, return to microwave and heat in 10-second increments. Do not exceed total heating time of 60 seconds. Excessive heating may cause compress to rupture and leak. 9. Store at room temperature for future hot therapy use.
