El recorrido que traza el presente volumen no solo explica en qué consistieron sus décadas de estudios con chimpancés o cuáles fueron sus principales descubrimientos, sino que al mismo tiempo sirve para transmitir importantes valores como el respeto a la vida animal y al medioambiente. Tanto el registro de la narración como el estilo de las imágenes están adecuados a un público de escolares con una franja de edad entre 8 y 11 años. El texto y las imágenes se aseguran de tratar temas didácticos transversales a los ámbitos de actividad del personaje, en especial aquellos relativos al mundo de la ecología y el respeto de la vida animal, de cara tanto a la lectura en familia como al uso en centros escolares y al refuerzo al programa educativo. Las páginas finales del libro contienen una biografía resumida del personaje y una cronología que lo enmarca en la evolución de su disciplina, entre otros personajes destacados. All the publication's content has been reviewed and approved by the Jane Goodall Institute. Both the register of the narrative and the style of the images are appropriate for schoolchildren between 8 and 11 years old. The text and the images make sure to deal with pedagogical threads that traverse the characters' scope of activity, both for family readings at home and at school, supporting the educational program. Additionally, throughout the narrative the reader will find all the information necessary to appropriately situate the figure in a socio-historical context.</i><p/><br></br><p><b> About the Author </b></p></br></br><b>Marcos Muslera </b>is a trained historian and a musician. He has led many projects in history and natural sciences for a variety of publishers specializing in textbooks. He also composes and records music for film and television with his own company, The Music Tailors. <b>Albert Asensio </b>studied graphic design at EADT and finished a postgraduate degree in Illustration at Eina Barcelona. Since 2007, he has worked as an illustrator for publishers such as Anaya, Juventud, Random House Mondadori, Teide and Planeta, as well as for newspapers such as La Vanguardia and el Ara.
