About the Book

"The aim of this project is to portray the history of the political unrest and its trace in the Kingdom of Bahrain. What differentiates it from other reports is the factual rather than the emotional approach it adopts, as well as the balanced instead of ideological opinionated outlook. It is well-known that the media played a major role in the events from 2011 up to today as a source of information or by making the problems seem bigger than they are, depicting Bahrain like another Iraq. It is a known fact that the owners of these media outlets are either founded or financed by the Islamic Republic of Iran; a state that has been trying to take over the peaceful island as its fourteenth state. Despite what most people presume, political unrest didn't start in 2011 and was not occasioned by the regional conflicts but rather, has been in the making for a long time. This project was initiated to provide a comprehensive and factual retelling of the historical and current aspects of the political scene in the Kingdom of Bahrain. A thorough analysis has been made on all political societies and their ideologies, manifestos, affiliations, and stories. In addition, it presents a broader study of Bahraini politics, including the showcasing of all the elements involved in the political configuration of the Kingdom, such as the government, its structure, constitution, and the related bodies. The review presents a record of the kingdom's political history, current situation, all factors involved in the political structure, and how successes and drawbacks have shaped today's political outcomes. In the present age of the Internet, it is very easy for people to sink into their own echo chambers of similar ideas. Those who subscribe solely to what is articulated in human rights organizations, for example, tend to restrict themselves to the news provided by these bodies. On the other hand, people who subscribe solely to government media only pay attention to government narrative. This review will stand out from those previously made by single organizations. It will present facts and data compiled by international researchers from government entities, political societies, international organizations, and think tanks, among other sources. The objective is to provide unbiased, fact-based and therefore, accurate historical timeline, political outlook, and recommendations. This political review on the Kingdom of Bahrain will be distributed to international bodies, governments, parliaments, think tanks and universities, among other entities, to disseminate a well-rounded and unbiased account of events. Its aim is to help expose people to the truth, no matter how much it conflicts with their personal views"--

Book Synopsis

A book that portrays the political situation and its trace in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
