For head lice, first apply behind ears and to back of neck. - allow product to remain for 10 minutes, but no longer - use warm water to form a lather, shampoo, then thoroughly rinse - for head lice, towel dry hair and comb out tanglesRemove lice and their eggs (nits) - use a fine-tooth or special lice/nit comb. Remove any remaining nits by hand (using a throw-away glove). - hair should remain slightly damp while removing nits - if hair dries during combing, dampen slightly with water - for head lice, part hair into sections. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact adults, children or pets, either directly or through drift. Remove pets, birds and cover fish aquariums before spraying. Do nto breathe vapors or spray mist. Wait 2 hours after application, then open windows, vents and doors for 2 hours. If an odor is still detected, additional ventilation is required. Do not apply when food is present. Not for broadcast use or indoor residential surfaces. Do not use in aircraft cabins. In the home, cover all food processing surfaces and utensils during treatment or thoroughly wash before use. Cover or remove exposed food. Non-food areas are areas such as garbage rooms, lavatories, floor drains (to sewers), entries, vestibules, offices, locker rooms, machine rooms, boiler rooms, garages, mop closets and storage areas (after bottling or canning). Since vacuuming stirs dust up into the air, those with allergies should have another person vaccum or should wear a dust mask and use a vacuum with a high effeciency particulate (HEPA) filter. Upholstery: Prior to large-scale use, test the fabric in an inconspicuous area to ensure dyes will not bleed. Hold container upright with nozzle facing away from you. Depress valve and spray from a distance of 8-10 inches. Do not use on delicate fabrics. Allow furniture to thoroughly dry before using. Carpets: Spot treat carpeted area. Hold the nozzle approximately 12-18 inches from the carpet survace. After application, brush the surface of the carpet with a broom or brush to ensure deep penetration. Allow carpet to thoroughly dry before re-entering the treated area. Drying time may be accelerated by using a fan.
