Separate hair into 1-inch strips. Holding the comb with the handle pointed toward you and the side of the handle marked this side toward scalp up against the head, gently and thoroughly comb each section of hair, from root to tip. Continue this procedure until the entire head has been combed through and thoroughly checked. Continue to inspect for lice and nits daily for at least two weeks. The LED-lit magnifier will help in locating any remaining lice or nits. To activate the light, simply remove the battery pull-tab and press down on the button.
