The large-format book with van Genechten's brightly colored portrayals of each adorable animal sitting on a potty is sure to engage kids. With time and options running out, Doggy's "big boy" decision to try the regular toilet will intrigue little ones learning this skill themselves." -- Celebrate Picture Books
"This book deals with the sometimes-difficult transition between a toddler using his or her own potty chair and using a grown-up toilet. Kids who enjoy toilet talk will likely giggle at the silly plot-line and at the illustrations -- especially those which show animals in the process of sometimes-messy elimination." -- Kiss the Book
"A fun book that shows the transition from potty to big kid toilet that toddlers and preschoolers will love." -- Mom Read It blog
"Hiilarious....Great to read to that little one who is scared of the "throne." -- Flora Fung, Librarian
"Both kids and adults will be laughing their heads off as they discover how Doggy finally finds relief and just in the nick of time.
