Much of this knowledge is shared-in a waythat is distinct from the typical university department, professional association, or consultancy. CCL is not simply acollection of individual experts, although the individualcredentials of its staff are impressive; rather it is a community, with its members holding certain principles in common and workingtogether to understand and generate practical responses to today'sleadership and organizational challenges.<br />The purpose of the series is to provide managers with specificadvice on how to complete a developmental task or solve aleadership challenge. In doing that, the series carries out CCL'smission to advance the understanding, practice, and development ofleadership for the benefit of society worldwide. <p><b>Curt Grayson</b> is an enterprise associate of CCL's SanDiego campus. He is a trainer for open-enrollment and customprograms, and he assists in the design, development, andmodification of programs. Curt holds a B.S. in psychology from SanDiego State University, an M.A. in clinical psychology fromRosemead School of Psychology, and a Ph.D. in organizationalpsychology from California School of Professional Psychology in LosAngeles.</p><p><b>David Baldwin</b> is a former CCL faculty member. He wasbased at the San Diego campus, where he facilitated open-enrollmentprograms and managed custom programs, research projects, andblended learning initiatives. David holds a B.A. in speechcommunication from San Diego State University and an M.S. inorganizational communication studies from Illinois StateUniversity.</p>
