She was born in Trinidad and Tobago and has lived in the U.S. for over a decade. A lifelong storyteller, Jenna writes and edits at her full-time job, which focuses on internal communications, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Jenna is also a public speaking and speech fundamentals teacher for kids Grade 4 through 12. Jenna writes on her blog Mommin For J's, to inspire and empower other moms, with a focus on motherhood in the Black community. Co-author Jasia Bermudez is a smart, funny, and caring five-year-old.
