Influenced by Thailand, California, and everywhere in between, Pepper's mouthwatering recipes and sharp sense of humor will satisfy anyone craving a taste of something sensational, whether that's a peek into America's most-talked- about family's kitchen or a rich and spicy spoonful of Massaman Beef Curry.

About The Author

Originally from Thailand, Pepper Teigen moved to the United States as a young woman after getting married. She longed for the flavors of home and so she started cooking Thai-ish food using American ingredients to substitute for Thai ones she couldn't find in grocery stores. It was while she was working at her then-husband's bar in Washington State that she earned the nickname Pepper, because the patrons always saw her snacking on fresh, spicy chiles. Now, Pepper lives in Southern California with her daughter, Chrissy, son-in-law, John, and her grandchildren, Luna and Miles. She is prominently featured on Cravings by Chrissy Teigen, as well as in both of Chrissy's bestselling cookbooks, where she shares her recipes, wit, and wisdom.
