A pioneer of modern book design, he was among the first to integrate drawings with text. Dover publishes his interpretation of <i>A Child's Garden of Verses</i>. <br>Walter Copeland Jerrold (1865-1929) edited many classics for Everyman's Library during the publisher's early years, and he wrote and edited many children's books.
