A publishing industry veteran, Janet worked as an editor at <i>Shape</i>, <i>Self</i> and <i>Fitness</i> and has written hundreds of health, fitness and nutrition articles for various publications, including <i>Consumer Reports, Real Simple</i> and<i> Cosmopolitan</i>, among others. In 2014, she co-wrote <i>The Supplement Handbook</i> (Rodale) with Mark Moyad, MD. She has appeared as a health expert on local and national news and lifestyle programs, including <i>CNN</i>, <i>Good Morning America</i>, <i>The Today Show</i>, <i>CBS This Morning</i> and <i>Entertainment Tonight</i>.
