She has worked in the fashion advertising field as an illustrator, art director, and photographer. Her original illustrations for the Garfinckel's store, along with the original drawings from Dover Publications' <i>Fashions of the First Ladies Coloring Book</i> are archived at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. Ming has exhibited artwork of natural material collages, as well as abstract watercolor works, in galleries in New York City and Washington, D. C.
