Taking a broad pedagogical approach to the question of food, it focuses on learning and change in a number of key sites including schools, homes, communities, and social movements, keeping in mind that we need to learn our way out of our current unsustainable food system and in to more sustainable alternatives.<p/><br></br><p><b> About the Author </b></p></br></br><p>Jennifer Sumner is Lecturer in the Adult Education and Community Development Program at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) University of Toronto, Canada. Her research interests include food and food systems, co-operatives, globalization, sustainability, rural communities, and critical pedagogy. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
