We tend to want to forget the bad and cherish the good, but with our busy lifestyles it has become more and more difficult to remember. We work all day, coming home exhausted. We get caught up using technology instead of spending quality time with our loved ones. We just never seem to have a moment to just relax and think. Once in awhile we may have a sudden flash of a memory and you ask yourself What made me think of that? This book helps you go beyond the sudden flash and prompts you to make the time, sit down and think back...and remember. What was your favorite Christmas gift? What was your favorite Halloween costume? Who was your favorite teacher? This and so many other questions are provided with space to write out your answers. What do you do with these answers? Appreciate them. Share them with your family. Ask your friends for their answers. I currently have two blog sites, David's Basement of the Bizarre and Dave the Bug Guy, both of which greatly reflect my life from childhood to now. I live with my significant other Melissa, a dog (Joe), two cats (Honey and Maggie), a bearded dragon (Juan) and countless tarantulas and scorpions (far too many to actually name).
Growing up I was the odd kid. The kid who didn't care for sports and did his own thing. Many of my hobbies growing up singled me out from others as it was rare to find friends that shared the same interests. I was ok with this though as they have created some of the best memories I have ever had, that I still think of fondly today.
These memories are reflective in my writings and have really struck a chord with the guests that read my blogs, oftentimes resulting in them sharing similar experiences. It was this reaction that prompted me to write this, my first book.
