As I tried to cope with my divorce and other life stressors, I leaned on alcohol more and more. A year passed, and I could count on one hand the number of days I didn't consume some form of alcohol. I regularly showed up to work hungover as I isolated from the world and spent all of my free time with my drink of choice. I was dying inside.</p><p><br></p><p>In these pages you will walk through my journey from the depths of my disease to freedom through sobriety. You will see how my relationship with God grew as I learned to cling to Him, acknowledging that He is the only power greater than my disease of alcoholism.
