Other poems include "Morning at the Window," another brief vision of city life, "The Boston Evening Transcript," a satirical reverie on time and community, and "Cousin Nancy," a humorous lyric celebrating Miss Nancy Ellicott, who unabashedly "smoked, / And danced all the modern dances.
