He studied creative writing, film and television production and went on to start his own company in advertising. He used his writing and creativity to achieve success in many national advertising campaigns. He began writing his debut children's series about a rather particular artistic girl named Marla in 2019. The stories of her misadventures became quite an obsession and since the completion of Marla and the magic ink bottle he has written 2 more novels completing her trilogy. Paul is currently working on 3 more children's books, and a 3-part Science fiction novel for teens entitled the Triangle Chronicles, which will soon be in publication. Paul currently resides in Ft. Lauderdale, and on any given day you may find him surrounded by his three dogs, sipping a fresh cup of coffee and happily typing out his next big adventure for an upcoming literary character. They say dress for the job you want. That is probably why you'll find Bianke covered in paint and ink with paintbrushes in her hair most of the time. Other times, she dresses up nicely and you can barely see the paint stains on her dress.
Bianke immigrated to the US from her childhood home in South Africa where she completed her degree in Fashion Design. She has a passion for art in all forms, but is drawn to illustration - particularly watercolour - to bring crazy ideas beautifully to life. The Marla Trilogy is her first children's book to be completed.
While working on other projects, she is also a mom to a very creative and wonderfully magical daughter. She cuts her sandwiches in very particular shapes, laughs at silly jokes and sometimes - well, always - makes wishes on shooting stars.
