In the halcyon days before 9/11 (back when it was still okay to make fun of the president), SOUTH PARK creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone crafted a gleeful parody of political and sitcom conventions with their Comedy Central television series THAT'S MY BUSH. Debuting after the 2000 election, the series satirized the inanity of sitcom clichés by transplanting the action to the White House, where the bumbling and not-too-bright President George W. Bush (deadringer Timothy Bottoms) engaged in stereotypically ridiculous plotlines about hot-button social issues--like the death penalty, gun control, and abortion--against a backdrop of catchphrases, laugh tracks, and stock characters, including the wisecracking maid (Marcia Wallace), advice-spouting neighbor (John D'Aquino), and dumb blonde bimbo (Kristen Miller). Lighthearted and rollicking, the short-lived series is presented in its entirety with this collection of eight episodes.
