He is the illustrator of <i>The Pratchett Portfolio</i>, the bestseller <i>The Art of Discworld</i>, as well as the Discworld Diaries, cards, t-shirts, maps, mugs, and, of course, the UK covers. <p/>Sir Terence David John "Terry" Pratchett, OBE (1948-2015) was an English author of fantasy novels, especially comical works. He is best known for his Discworld series of forty-one novels. The first Discworld novel, <i>The Color of Magic</i>, was published in 1983. His final Discworld novel, <i>The Shepherd's Crown</i>, was published in August 2015, five months after his death. With more than eighty-five million books sold worldwide in thirty-seven languages, Pratchett was the UK's bestselling author of the 1990s. He was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1998 and was knighted for services to literature in the 2009 New Year Honors. In 2001 he won the annual Carnegie Medal and for <i>The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents</i>, the first Discworld book marketed for children. His YA novels, <i>Nation</i> (2009) and <i>Dodger </i>(2013) were Printz Honor award winners. He received the World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement in 2010.
