A former high school teacher, she is the author of several children's books and young adult novels including <i>Totem Tale, Out of the Wilderness, </i> and <i>A Distant Enemy</i>. <p/>JEREMIAH TRAMMELL began drawing before he entered kindergarten in the rural Alaskan town of Willow. Currently based in Seattle, he has illustrated several children's books including <i>Three Bears of the Pacific Northwest</i> and <i>Little Red Riding Hood of the Pacific Northwest. </i>
