Scilla Peruviana, also known as Giant Scilla, grow from a large bulb. The strap-like, narrow leaves emerge in the fall, and in mid-spring, the tall flower stalks appear fully packed (50-100 blossoms) with blue colored flowers that can last for weeks. This variety is star-quality without the prima donna attitude or cost.<br />It is an easy plant to grow, given proper conditions. The plant goes dormant over summer. Good naturalizer. Good water wise plant and hardy to 5 degrees F.
