It is with this diverse, global perspective that she shares her first collection of poems that reflects on today's society and individuals.
Vega, a Costa Rican-American writer, encourages us to reach inside ourselves, despite living within a divisive and uncertain world, and realize that we are similar and that our human experiences are still rooted in basic feelings and thoughts. With deep tone and nostalgic sentiment, her rhythmic poems touch on diverse topics such as the birth of new ideas, the polarization of the world, the quest for meaning, and an objective description of emotions.
Empathy Prescribed is a compilation of poems that brings back the relevance of written verse during an uncertain time for the world and its people.

About the Author

Ella Vega is a Costa Rican-American writer who first fell in love with words at age twelve.
