"Let's Dance" is David Bowie's fifteenth studio album, released in April 1983. The album features three of Bowie's most successful singles; the title track, "Let's Dance", which reached No. 1 in the UK, US and various other countries, as well as the hits "Modern Love" and "China Girl". It remains David Bowie's best-selling album and has sold over 10.7 million copies worldwide. The album was nominated for the Album of the Year Grammy Award in 1984, losing out to Michael Jackson's "Thriller". The NME ranked "Let's Dance" at number 296 in it's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and the record made Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the 100 Best Albums of the Eighties.
