She is the author of <i>The Last World</i>, a short story collection about themes and situations that take us to the limit. She is also the author of <i>Love Rains Over the Sea, </i>a children's biography about José Emilio Pacheco. As a translator she has dealt with texts by Virginia Woolf, Raymond Carver, Francisco Goldman, Alma Guillermoprieto, and George Steiner, to name a few. <p/>
