The National Symphony Orchestra has a rich history of recording that dates back to award-winning projects from the early 1970's. Past music directors include Antal Dorati, Mstislav Rostropovich and Leonard Slatkin. The launch of their own label celebrates this legacy and looks to the future. The first release, under the baton of it's seventh music director Gianandrea Noseda, pairs Copland's evocative Suite from Billy the Kid with Dvorák's Ninth Symphony.
