About the Book

"This book examines the climatological processes that affect human health. This chapter, however, focuses on the physical processes associated with climate change to provide a foundation for subsequent discussions. In particular, we clarify how greenhouse gases alter the Earth's energy balance, describe recent climate trends and projections of future climate change. In addition, we present multiple converging lines of evidence that support that the climate is indeed changing and that the changes are primarily caused by human activities"--

Book Synopsis

Learn more about the impact of global warming and climate change on human health and disease

The Second Edition of Global Climate Change and Human Health delivers an accessible and comprehensive exploration of the rapidly accelerating and increasingly ubiquitous effects of climate change and global warming on human health and disease.
