A simplified variation of the classic "Orchard" game adapted to suit players ages 2+, this game has been enjoyed by families for over 30 years. Your child will love playing the My Very First Games - My First Orchard game, the perfect "first" game for ages 2 years and up! The fruit pieces are large, designed for smaller hands, and included is one sturdy basket for children to share for a cooperative game. This set can be used as both a game (with game boards and die) and also as a pretend play set of solid, wooden fruit. . Players roll the die and collect the fruit, hoping to harvest it all before the pesky raven reaches the orchard. If the raven is rolled on the die, the raven moves one step closer to the orchard. This cooperative game is designed to foster social skills, develop color recognition skills, and teach counting by ones. Cleaning Instructions: HABA recommends using a cloth lightly dampened with warm water. If you wish to disinfect the toy with a cleaning agent, use a small amount of either water and a mild dish soap or a water & vinegar essence mix. Both options work extremely well in destroying bacteria and cleaning wooden toys. After cleaning, wipe the toy dry with a clean cloth. Remember, Wood is a natural material that soaks in moisture. Do not ever submerse wooden toys in water or place in a dishwasher. Disinfectants (even organic baby wipes), should not be used as they can damage the water based protective coatings applied to protect the stains or paints beneath.
