The Greek text and notes are those of E.C. Marchant, originally published in 1891, and the introduction is by Thomas Wiedemann, who takes into account the needs of the modern student and up-to-date research on Thucydides.</p><p/><br></br><p><b> About the Author </b></p></br></br><p>The late Thomas Wiedemann was Professor of Latin, University of Nottingham.</p>
