Each of her books was written in Hebrew and as they became best sellers in Israel she decided to have them translated into English to benefit an even broader range of children. As always Sigal's rhyming style is delightful. The stories are not only entertaining but they also carry some subtle messages to those children fortunate enough to read them - or have them read to them. The books are enhanced by illustrators from Pixel Ink Studios.

In this book, GOOD DAY OR BAD DAY - I LOVE YOU ANYWAY!, the youngster monster is having a bad day and even his mother has to remind (and correct) him about habits and tardiness. He goes to school and that is bad, too, He returns home and talks with sass, having accidents, refusing to eat the right things, until his mom tries not to get angry and just needs to rest. 'He suddenly saw his mom on the couch, and felt terribly sad for being such a grouch. The grouchy monster was wild and impolite, he was rude to his mom and that wasn't right.' He hugs his mom, apologizes: 'He wanted to tell her why things went bad, sometimes he's happy, and sometimes he's sad. Sometimes he's strong, and at times he felt weak, He liked to be quiet, but he also like to speak.' He asks his mom if she rather have a different son - but his forgiving mom loves him and returns his question 'Would you want another mom?' Of course, love is expressed by both, little monster tidies up and sleeps with his mother's love assured. 'Monsters and people can feel down and sad, but luckily most days, we're cheery and glad.'

This is another wonderful children's book, beautifully written in magical rhyme and related with terrific illustrations, and of course with a valuable lesson! - Very Highly Recommended. Grady Harp, September 20
