He is the author of <i>Liverpool: Wondrous Place</i>, <i> Modern Icons: The Clash</i>, <i> and Modern Icons: Marc Bolan</i>, and the editor of <i>The Story of Rock 'n' Roll: The Year by Year Chronicle</i>.
