The Acro-Copper Snare Drum from Ludwig is an evolution of the Acrolite Snare Drum first introduced in 1964. Developed as a student-level aluminum snare, this Acro Series snare carries on the same professional quality of the original line. The copper model features the darkest timbre quality of any metal alloy and resonates with the control of a wood snare while offering the presence of a metal drum. Along with a 1-piece seamless "Phonic" USA-made shell, the Acro-Copper Snare Drum features a 10-twin lugs format for well-balanced tone and projection, P88 throw "WeatherMaster" heads and "Vintage '63" Snare 18-strand snare wires.
