This question is powerful because I believe it causes people to consider their situation and the condition of their life. This question is powerful because I believe it causes people to consider their situation and the condition of their life. More notably, I believe this reflection causes us to assess the direction our life is headed, allowing us to align the present reality of our experiences and outcomes, with what we desire our life to be.
Many in the church have seemingly lost their sense of direction and subsequently their focus on reaching our ultimate objective as Christians. They are overshadowed by a default focus on their day-to-day struggles, fears, and wants. Still, others may seek to distract themselves from fulfilling their child's every whim because it brings the illusion of joy when we delight in how they play their sport, how good their grades might be, or how they clean the house, boat, or car. We tend to see those actions as a validation that we are doing okay, and we point to those things as an accomplishment.

About the Author

The author is Rev. Andrew Dees, who has been in ministry for over 20 years.
On May 4, 1984, Good Friday with my mom by my side in her bedroom I asked Jesus Christ to come into my life and save me. I have tried to follow the example of Jesus' teachings in telling others about the Lord. I am not perfect just like every other person is not perfect, but I trust the saving blood of Jesus to continually take my sins away.
My wife, Jennie, and I have been married for 19 years. We have three children; we treasure the time with our children and thank the Lord daily for them.
We have served in ministry to all ages and continually seek the Lord and His guidance daily. Our goal is to reach the CORE of every family unit that God allows our paths to cross and connect.
Currently, Jennie and I have answered the call to promote Christian education from grades K - 12 for this season of our lives. With the climate of our world, we feel that we must equip the next generation with a solid Biblical education to make a difference in this world.
Additionally, my inspiration for this book is to address and provide biblical answers for some of life's most challenging questions. It is also my desire that the reader would find hope and comfort after reading this book. As a world, we are challenged. As a nation, we are challenged. Finally, as a community, we are challenged.
