New friendships form, a romance blossoms, and hearts receive healing nourishment. Will Heidi's own hurting heart also be healed?

Despite stressful changes occurring in their lives, Lyle and Heidi once again open their Ohio home up to those seeking to learn about Amish cooking. This time a teenager helping her divorced dad cook for the family, a caterer needing new recipes, a food critic, a hunter looking to impress his buddies, a wife given the class as an unwanted gift, and a mailman lured in by the aroma of good cooking gather around Heidi's table.

During each class, Heidi teaches culinary skills, but it is her words of wisdom that have a profound effect on her students--though, this time Heidi's own hurting heart will need some healing nourishment.

This is the second book in The Amish Cooking Class series.
Book #1: The Amish Cooking Class - The Seekers

Review Quotes

Brunstetter's latest weaves together forgiveness, fresh starts and reconciliation, along with strong character growth and yummy recipes. While this could be read as a stand-alone, a greater appreciation of the story can be obtained by reading The Amish Cooking Class series in order. The bond that develops between the characters is realistic and encouraging as they work together to help each other, as well as seek God. It is a joy to have some familiar faces from the first book in the series included, too.-- (07/01/2017)

In this latest work, Ms. Brunstetter captures a beautiful flow of words and complements them with balanced tone and rhythm. Her voice is audible from the onset and there is a sublime tenderness in the narrative. Her characters are believable with every day challenges and grit. Ms. Brunstetter has divine ability to weave Amish lifestyle and faith throughout the storyline in confident fashion. The reader isn't getting an ad nauseum dose of religious pontification and judgment toward those who are not of the Amish faith. To the contrary, Ms. Brunstetter treats her audience to great nuggets of information about their practices and commitment to their faith in a delicious delivery of non-preachy writing. I look forward to Ms. Brunstetter's next novel in this entertaining series.-- (07/08/2017)
