Her storied career took her from The Costume Institute at The Metropolitan Museum of Art (where she was a special assistant to Diane Vreeland), to the <i>New York Times Magazine</i>, <i>Life</i>, Calvin Klein, and <i>Harper's Bazaar</i>, where she was the fashion director.
