Rathish Kumar </b>is currently Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology Warangal. He obtained his Ph.D from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal and Doctor of Engineering & Post-Doctoral research from Japan. His major areas of interest include new/alternate/supplementary cementitious materials, special concretes, rehabilitation of structures, construction technology and management, structural health monitoring and earthquake engineering. He has published 205 articles in various international and national journals and conferences of repute. He is a recipient of several awards including the Aftab Mufti Medal, prestigious Monbusho and JSPS Scholarships of the Japanese Government, Best Engineering Researcher Award, Heritage Scholarship to visit IST Portugal, Danish Government Scholarship, Italy Government Post Doctoral Scholarship, Heritage Scholarship under Erasmus Mundus, AIT Fellowship, Jawaharlal Nehru memorial fellowship and Distinguished Alumnus award. Prof Kumar is a member of the Research Advisory Council member of the National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCCBM), Hyderabad for the past four years. He has representation in several Bureau of Indian Standard committees like CED-4 ie Lime and Gypsum Products of the Bureau of Indian Standards, Member of the Preparation of the Handbook of lime for the Buruea of Indian Standards, Convenor for revision of all parts of the Indian Standard Code IS 2542-1978 including tests for Gypsum, Plaster, Concrete and Mortars, Member of the Revision of Indian Standard Code IS 712:1984 ie Specification for building limes (third revision). He is on the editorial board of Journal of Facta Universtatis, Journal of Cement Wapno Beton among others.<br><b>Dr. Bhaskar Sangoju </b>is a Senior Principal Scientist in Advanced Materials Laboratory (AML), CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (SERC) Chennai, India. He has nearly 20 years of experience in industrial research, sponsored and consultancy projects. He graduated in Civil Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad; received his M.Tech in Structural Engineering from JNTU, Hyderabad and Ph.D. from IIT Madras. He has more than 70 publications in journals and conference proceedings. His areas of interest include durability of reinforced concrete including condition assessment and service life enhancement, quality and integrity assessment of new and existing concrete structures using NDT&E. He received the outstanding PhD thesis award from the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI), and NACE International Gateway India Section. He was a visiting scientist to work in the area of advanced NDT for Reinforced concrete structures at Federal Institute of Materials and Testing (BAM) Berlin, Germany. He is a Principal member, CED2:7, BIS New Delhi.<br><b>Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary</b> is currently working as a Professor and Dean of Infrastructure Development in the Discipline of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Indore. Before joining IIT Indore, he served as a faculty member in different capacities at MNIT Jaipur. He obtained his B.E from MBM Engineering College Jodhpur, M.E from MREC Jaipur, Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and carried out his Post-Doctoral research at Kunsan National University, S. Korea. His research interests include strength, durability and microstructure of concrete, sustainable construction practices and steel-concrete composite structures. He has carried out various sponsored research and consultancy projects and has published more than a hundred papers in well-known international and national journals and conference proceedings. He has served on prestigious committees at National and International Level and is presently chairing the Technical Committee-1 of Asian Concrete Federation.
