The B125-101-60-IRU HDMI over Dual Cat5/Cat6 Extender Kit includes a transmitter unit and a receiver unit that work in tandem to extend HDMI audio/video and IR control signals to an HDMI projector, monitor or television. The kit is ideal for digital signs, trade shows, presentations, classrooms, churches, retail settings and other applications where the video source is located farther than conventional cables allow. Use HDMI cables (such as Tripp Lite's P568-Series) to connect the transmitter to the audio/video source and the receiver to the display. Dual Cat5e/6 cables connect the two units (for best results, use 24 AWG solid-wire Cat5e/6 cable, such as Tripp Lite's N202-Series). An included USB Micro-B cable supplies power to either the transmitter or receiver by connecting the unit to a USB Micro-B port or wall charger.The B125-101-60-IRU can extend a high-definition 1920 x 1080 (1080p) signal up to 100 feet when using 24 AWG solid-wire Cat5e/6 cable.
