Should he continue to use the eraser or not?<p/><br></br><p><b> Book Synopsis </b></p></br></br><p>Eraser Boy is a fiction tale of seven year old Jamal, who moves into a new neighbourhood with no friends. Both, his mother and himself are very excited when the Oaktree Road Friendship Group, organise a camping trip for some children from the street to encourage friendships. </p><p>Jamal is totally excited by the thought of making friends and having an adventure, but he is confused by the way some of the children and the group leader treat him. He tries to pretend everything is alright until the children refuse to help him out of a ditch because he is 'dirty.' He tries to wash his hands and face over and over but his hands still look 'dirty.'</p><p>Frustrated and confused, he absentmindedly uses the eraser, which he took from his mother's special jar, on himself to find it makes him paler. He has mixed feelings about the results but he does want to make friends... </p><p>He doesn't know what to do? </p>
