Pinot Noir, Caneros The Domaine Carneros Estate is located in the heart of the Carneros Appellation at the southern tip of the Napa and Sonoma valleys. The Region's cool microclimate and long growing season particularly favor the cultivation of Pinot Noir grapes. Gentle handling of the grapes during harvest creates a smooth, silky Pinot Noir of extraordinary finesse. Traditional small fermentation in open-topped vats aging in French oak barrels yields a wine ripe with fresh berry and jam aromas and a velvety texture. A highly versatile wine, Domaine Carneros Pinot Noir may be served with light-to-medium bodied entrees such as lamb, duck, pheasant or grilled salmon. Alc. 13.7% by vol. Produced and bottled by Domaine Carneros, Napa, California.
