He struggled early with what to preach and how to find his own voice. He found encouragement while taking a graduate level course on Expository Preaching with the late Dr. Warren Wiersbe. This course made a difference in his life and continues to inspire him to pass on what he has learned. Greg was an associate pastor for 2 years and pastored for 38 years in churches from 25 in attendance to 300. Along the journey he worked through unique challenges that come with pastoring churches of varying sizes.</p> <p>Greg served in his district as Men's Representative, Section Alternate Presbyter and Presbyter. He served as Chairman of the Red Cross in Ford County, and President of the Ministerial Association in most towns he pastored. He was asked to serve on the board of Directors at Canton Chamber of Commerce, while there he chaired the business and community committee. Greg joined the John Maxwell Team, March 2012.</p> <p>Greg loves to encourage people and especially people in ministry and helping pastors and church leaders to grow and navigate roadblocks which make them stuck. Encouraging and training leaders energizes them to grow and make a difference in their calling and career.</p>
