The author being of German origin presents all these different aspect in an interesting and informative way in: BRIEF HISTORY OF GERMAN IMMIGRATION INTO AMERICA - from where, to where, why they came and what they contributed.<p/><br></br><p><b> About the Author </b></p></br></br>Wolfgang H Vogel, PhD was born in Dresden, Germany and immigrated with his wife to the USA in 1961. He was a Professor of Pharmacology and Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He lectured to students and residents and conducted research in psychopharmacology and addiction. He published over 300 scientific papers and 7 books. After his retirement, he became interested in the history of German immigration to this country.
