She was perhaps best known for <i>A Wrinkle in Time </i>and the Time Quintet among her other children's books. She was also the author of several books featuring the Austin family, including the Newbery Honor Book <i>A Ring of Endless Light. <p/></i><b>Hope Larson</b> is the author of <i>Salamander Dream</i>, <i> Gray Horses</i>, <i> Chiggers</i>, and <i>Mercury</i>. She won a 2007 Eisner Award. She lives in Los Angeles, California.</p>
