She is also the Assistant Regional Adviser for the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Ashley King graduated from Coventry University with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Illustration and Animation. Ashley has illustrated three middle-grade fiction titles in the UK -- Erica's Elephant, The Bookshop Girl and Kaye Umansky's Witch for a Week. Lazy Daisy is his first picture book. Ashley lives in Warwickshire, UK and also works as a children's bookseller at Waterstones.
