Elizabeth Lange quickly realized that the children in her neighborhood needed a formal education. With encouragement from Father James Hector Joubert, PSS, Elizabeth Lange and three other women professed their vows and founded the Oblate Sisters of Providence. It was the first religious congregation to accept women of color.

Through it all, Mother Mary Lange trusted in God's providence and persevered.

An Hour With Mother Mary Lange creates a time of reflection, recollection, learning, contemplation, and prayer. In addition to a short biography, it includes meditations on her spirituality.

Pamphlet. This item is not returnable.
