She has been a research fellow at the University of Nottingham since 2005.</p> <p>Dr Whitbrook's work has been published in the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Part B - Cybernetics, and is a member of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.</p>
