<p/><br></br><p><b> About the Book </b></p></br></br>The Story of Josh Behjat Haggerty as told by those who know him. Over 50 different people contributed in excess of 70 short stories that tell the life of Josh. <p/>Josh was born in Memphis, a little town in Southeastern Michigan. While growing up, his family's travels took him to Asheville, North Carolina, where the family joined the Baha'i faith. It was then back to Michigan and on to the Rio Grande Valley in Southern Texas. <p/>His dream from an early age was to be a Stuntman. After graduating from the University of Texas, Pan American in the Rio Grande Valley, he left for Europe. He had a potential lead where he could get in the Stunt / Film Industry and was not going to miss the opportunity. <p/>Armed with a dream and determination Josh was able to enjoy a successful career as a Stuntman. He married Leila Behjat from Hamburg Germany and became the father of two wonderful girls, Maxime and Malia. At the same time he was able to obtain a Joint MBA from both London University in Great Britain and Columbia University in New York. <p/>Josh's life was cut short by PSC (Primary Schelosering Cholangitis) in June of 2020, but not before he achieved his a few of his dreams. A successful Stuntman, founder of 3 family businesses and an inspiration to those who know him.<p/><br></br><p><b> Book Synopsis </b></p></br></br>The Book is comprised of over 70 short stories of a man who lived his dream while working to make the world a better place. Each of the stories are from people who have known Josh Behjat Haggerty. They are family, friends, co-workers, and buddies, men and women, from all walks of life, of varying ages, and from different parts of the world. Some have known him since childhood, others have known him as an adult for many years, and some only a few years. <p/>But the outstanding running theme in each and every one of the stories is a picture of a man who exemplifies kindness, understanding, generosity of spirit, an eagerness to experience life, and a soul who not only lived the human experience, but embraced it to the fullest. <p/>Josh was a member of the Baha'i Faith and lived his life as a man true to his faith. Several of the stories referenced his faith and how the author of that particular story was impacted through their association with Josh. One such story, in describing Josh coined the term The Spiritual Stuntman. <p/>Josh's story is an inspiration to all. Here is a man who had no contacts in the Film Industry. No experience on how to go about becoming a stuntman. He dove into it with only a dream. A dream to be a stuntman.<p/><br></br><p><b> About the Author </b></p></br></br>Dennis Haggerty Sr, was born and raised in a small town in Michigan. He and his spouse Cynthie Grace have known each other since 1959 when they were 8 and 5 years old respectively. Dennis and Cynthie have 5 children. Sarah the middle child died at 6 weeks old of SIDS. They raised their 4 boys and traveled the world finally ending up in Austin, Texas where they run 3 businesses employing approximately 100 people. Dennis always had a dream to write a book. In the beginning of 2020 when their oldest son Josh, who was previously diagnosed with PSC (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis) took a turn for the worst, Dennis decided to write a book to celebrate his life. <br>The end result is a book of 72 short stories written by over 50 different people. Josh was a man who had a dream to be a stuntman and be a part of a family business. He accomplished both. Josh remained active in the Baha'i faith. In describing Josh, one of his friends coined the term, The Spiritual Stuntman. Josh is an inspiration to all those who know him. <br>Dennis was able to finish the book in time for Josh to see it and read it. <br>Dennis holds an Engineering Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan and is currently living and working with his family in Austin.
